1 Alternative varieties
In this window for a form of a variety an alternative variety and possibly another form can be fixed with the respective production device.
This input will be a universal value, if a variety is sold out. Then in the Main data the form of this article is set "Variety locked".
More flexible for short intervalls by now it is to use Tools, Replacement. By now there is no English description.
1.1 Settings in Maintainance, Settings, Order
⇒ automatic alternative variety must be hooked.
1.2 Settings in Master Data, Varieties and Plants, variety list, Product form/Properties
1) "automatic alternative variety" has not been hooked:
- If an article has been set "inaktive" there will come a responding warning in order administration when writing the relevant form already. The article can not be saved.
⇒ There will come a hint in order administration at first release F8 that the article is locked if "Variety locked" is set instead. At the second release F8 Status changes to "FE" and color of the line will become lilac.
2) "automatic alternative variety" has been hooked:
⇒ In the order administration with the release F8 of the locked article the alternative variety will be filled in automatically.
⇒ Furthermore there will be an entry in the text field of this line: "ALTERNATIVE + ArtNr form quantity short name".
